Velcro - Paired Hook & Loop
Pairing Hook and Loop adhesive backed Velcro works best on stable, rigid, flat, clean vertical or horizontal surfaces. This fastener works best for situations where permanent interior signs require occasional removal. Once the adhesive cures (approximately 24 hours) it will become difficult to remove and may lift paint or papered surfaces if pried from the wall. Typically The "hook" or rigid strip of Velcro is adhered to the sign and the "loop" strip of Velcro is adhered to the surface the signs will be attached to. Be sure placement is measured correctly prior to installation. It is advisable to thoroughly wipe down surfaces prior to installation. Surfaces must be dry.

Velcro works best on fabric surfaces with sufficient looped or twisted pile, such as cubicle walls. Hook adhesive backed Velcro fasteners is suited for situations where permanent interior signs require occasional removal or where walls are fabric covered. Once the adhesive cures (approximately 12-24 hours) it will become difficult to adjust or remove and may lift paint or papered surfaces if pried from the wall. Typically The "hook" or rigid strip of Velcro is adhered to the sign and the "loop" strip of Velcro is adhered to the surface the signs will be attached to.

High-grade Double-sided Adhesive Tape
High-grade Double-sided Adhesive Tape works best on stable, rigid, flat, clean vertical or horizontal surfaces. This fastener works best for situations where interior signs require permanent installation. Once the adhesive cures (approximately 12-24 hours) it will become difficult to adjust or remove and may lift paint or papered surfaces if pried from the wall. Be sure placement is measured correctly prior to installation. It is advisable to thoroughly wipe down surfaces prior to installation. Surface must be dry.

Cubicle Pins
Cubicle Pins work best on fabric faced hollow partition wall surfaces such as cubicle walls and dividers. Cubicle pin fasteners are suited for situations where permanent interior signs require occasional removal or where walls are covered with fabric too fine for Velcro to attach.

VHB Ultra Double-sided Adhesive Tape
VHB Ultra Double-sided Adhesive Tape works best on stable, rigid, flat, clean vertical or horizontal surfaces. This fastener works best for situations where interior and exterior signs require permanent installation. Once the adhesive cures (approximately 12-24 hours) it will become virtually impossible to adjust or remove and will damage any surface if pried from the wall. Be sure placement is measured correctly prior to installation. It is advisable to thoroughly wipe down surfaces prior to installation. Surface must be dry.

Mounting Holes
Screws work best on stable, rigid, flat, vertical or horizontal surfaces. This fastener works best for situations where interior and exterior signs require permanent installation. However, when using screws only, removal for relocation will result in less damage to surfaces than double-sided tape or Velcro adhesive. Be sure placement is measured correctly prior to installation. Consult a building specialist in your area who will assist with hardware and or anchor selection best suited for the attachment process. EGS provides the holes only. Mounting hardware is not included.

Mounting Hole plus DS Tape Tabs
The combination of Screws and DS Tape works best on stable, rigid, flat, vertical or horizontal surfaces. This fastening combination works best for situations where interior and exterior signs require permanent installation. However, removal for relocation will result in less damage to surface than double-sided tape or Velcro adhesive. Be sure placement is measured correctly prior to installation. Consult a building specialist in your area who will assist with hardware and or anchor selection best suited for the attachment process. EGS provides the holes only. Mounting hardware is not included. This combination of fasteners is best used when screwing too many holes in a surface is prohibitive. Minimal surface damage may still be present upon removal.

What carrier will deliver my completed project to me?
Executive Graphic Systems, LLC evaluates the costs, destination, delivery window, package size and weight prior to choosing a carrier. Shipping and handling costs are included in our proposal. We take all of the necessary precautions to package your order for the safest journey possible. Please notify us within 24 hours if a package was delivered to your facility damaged. It is in all of our best interest that you deny acceptance of the package due to damages incurred in shipping. Mention to the carrier that you would like to file a claim. If you accept the goods and they are damaged, open the package with the carrier present, photograph and file a claim. Again, please notify us within 24 hours.

What are your payment terms?
Executive Graphic Systems, LLC accepts Visa, MC, money order, certified checks, bank checks, and business checks. Projects do not begin and merchandise does not ship until payment arrangements have been processed and approved.
A 50% deposit, corporate Purchase Order or payment in full is required at time of order placement.
Any outstanding balances are due prior to shipment of merchandise, unless arranged otherwise.
CT State Sales Tax is applicable for all orders placed within Connecticut.

Will E.G.S. Recommend the best mounting method for the type of sign I am ordering?
Simply ask. Executive Graphic Systems, LLC has nearly forty years of hands-on experience with installing signs of every type. We will do our best to assure that your installation goes as smoothly as possible. Executive Graphic Systems, LLC is not however, responsible for costs associated to replacement of fasteners approved by our clients. i.e. if for instance Velcro is ordered to attach signs to fabric, and the fabric is not aggressive enough to hold the sign, the costs to replace with an alternative method of fastening will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please be sure about your mounting needs before placing your order.

What is your return policy?
The majority of products produced by Executive Graphic Systems, LLC are designed and custom fabricated to meet the individual needs of our client's materials and dimensional specifications. Unless a document able error has occurred, the merchandise remains the property of the purchaser and is not returnable. If an error on behalf of E.G.S. has occurred, then E.G.S. will replace the merchandise to meet the requirements of the original contract. We do not casually offer refunds, exchanges or credits, so please be sure that the order you place meets your exact requirements. At our own discretion: If the merchandise of concern is a stock item or is an extremely popular item, we may accept unused, returned merchandise. Unfortunately, a 25% restocking fee will automatically apply in advance and upon approval.

Signs for Permanent Rooms and Space (Rest Rooms, Conference Rooms, etc.)

4.1.2(7) Building Signage
Signs which designate permanent rooms and spaces shall comply with 4.30.1, 4.30.4, 4.30.5, and 4.30.6.

4.30 Signage

4.30.1* General
Signage required to be accessible by 4.1 shall comply with the applicable provisions of 4.30.

4.30.4* Raised and Brailled Characters and Pictorial Symbol Signs (Pictograms)
Letters and numbers shall be raised 1/32 in. upper case, sans serif or simple serif type and shall be accompanied with Grade 2 Braille. Raised characters shall be at least 5/8 in. (16 mm.) high, but no higher than 2 in. (50 mm.). Pictograms shall be accompanied by the equivalent verbal description placed directly below the pictogram. The border dimension of the pictogram shall be 6 in. (152 mm) minimum in height.

4.30.5 Finish and Contrast
The characters and background of signs shall be eggshell, matte, or other non-glare finish. Characters and symbols shall contrast with their background—either light characters on a dark background or dark characters on a light background.

4.30.6* Mounting Location and Height
Where permanent identification is provided for rooms and spaces, signs shall be installed on the wall adjacent to the latch side of the door. Where there is no wall space to the latch side of the door, including double leaf doors, signs shall be placed on the nearest adjacent wall. Mounting height shall be 60 in. above the finish floor to the centerline of the sign. Mounting location for such signage shall be so that a person may approach within 3 in. (76 mm) of
signage without encountering protruding objects or standing within the swing of the door.

Other signs which provide direction to, or information about, functional spaces of the building shall comply with 4.30.1, 4.30.2, 4.30.3, and 4.30.5.
